Operation.moth
I can bring genuine healing miracles to a congregation. [A reasonably safe way to convert stolen lifespan into cash. Moth aspect cards are often useful when running a cult.]

Run a Faith-Healing Cult is an Operation in the Exile legacy. Upon completion, it gives A New Faith?, which allows the player to run several additional operations and gain unique Local Contacts. As all of the secondary Operations (Continue a Faith-Healing Cult, Assemble an Esoteric Cult of the Wolf Divided, Horned Axe, or Flowermaker) also reward A New Faith?, Cult Operations can be continued indefinitely.

Run / Continue a Faith-Healing Cult[ | ]

Everybody's happy. The show must go on. [A reasonably safe way to convert stolen lifespan into cash. Moth aspect cards are often useful when running a cult.]

To begin or continue a Faith-Healing Cult, Employ Connection: Holy Man or A New Faith? with 1 Space and a Stolen Year.

Challenges[ | ]

Faith-Healing Cult: Preach parables, or pleasure?

Requires Moth 4 / Grail 4.

Faith-Healing Cult: Be carefully vague, or share real secrets?

Requires Moth 8 / Lantern 8.

Faith-Healing Cult: Comforting misdirection, or bleak revelation?

Requires Moth 12 / Winter 12.

Rewards[ | ]

Rewards 2 Cash, A New Faith?, 1 additional Cash per Effectiveness, possible Obscurity from Subtlety.

Assemble an Esoteric Cult of the Wolf Divided[ | ]

The Wolf Divided's presence is strong here. The more violent members of the congregation will respond to that. [A reasonably safe way to convert stolen lifespan into cash. Moth aspect cards are often useful when running a cult.]

An Esoteric Cult of the Wolf Divided can be assembled in Kaunas, the only city with both The Wolf Divided's Shadow and Connection: Holy Man available. To do so, Employ A New Faith? with 1 Space, a Stolen Year, and The Wolf Divided's Shadow.

Challenges[ | ]

Wolf Divided Cult: Agony, or ice?

Requires Edge 4 / Winter 4.

Wolf Divided Cult: Agony, or blindness?

Requires Edge 8 / Lantern 8.

Wolf Divided Cult: Ice, or blood?

Requires Winter 12 / Grail 12.

Rewards[ | ]

Rewards 2 Cash, A New Faith?. May award 1 additional Cash per Effectiveness, Obscurity, and/or a Damned, depending on Effectiveness and Subtlety.

One of my congregation is eager to embrace their end. [A Wolf Divided Cult generates a cultist if you achieve at least one Effectiveness.]
~ In-game text

A Damned is obtained at the end of an Esoteric Cult of the Wolf Divided operation if at least one Effectiveness was achieved. They can be used in Capers or Operations to fulfill Edge or Winter requirements.

They're not here any more. I should make sure I'm not, either.

After use, the Damned will become A Human Corpse. Likely for this reason, Damned contacts have a greater magnitude of their Principle Aspects than the Divided Soul and the Flowermaker-Touched.

Assemble an Esoteric Cult of the Horned-Axe[ | ]

The Horned-Axe's presence is strong here. Some of the congregation will be drawn to her. [A reasonably safe way to convert stolen lifespan into cash. Moth aspect cards are often useful when running a cult.]

It is not currently possible to assemble An Esoteric Cult of the Horned-Axe without using the console, as no cities have both The Horned Axe's Shadow and Connection: Holy Man available. In theory, to do so one would Employ A New Faith? with 1 Space, a Stolen Year, and The Horned Axe's Shadow.

Challenges[ | ]

Horned-Axe Cult: Call up whatever visitors may come, or put down what will not go?

Requires Knock 4 / Winter 4.

Horned-Axe Cult: Ask assistance from whatever visitors may come, or set the congregation to work?

Requires Knock 8 / Forge 8.

Horned-Axe Cult: The door, or the lamp?

Requires Knock 12 / Lantern 12.

Rewards[ | ]

Rewards 2 Cash, A New Faith?. May award 1 additional Cash per Effectiveness, Obscurity, and/or a Divided Soul, depending on Effectiveness and Subtlety.

~ In-game text

A Divided Soul is obtained at the end of an Esoteric Cult of the Horned-Axe operation if at least one Effectiveness was achieved. They can be used in Capers or Operations to fulfill Knock or Winter requirements.

~ Divided Soul, Recovering

After use, the Divided Soul has a cooldown time of 120s. They can be reused indefinitely.

Assemble an Esoteric Cult of the Flowermaker[ | ]

The Flowermaker's presence is strong here. I'll let the enthusiasts in the congregation pursue their pleasures. [A reasonably safe way to convert stolen lifespan into cash. Moth aspect cards are often useful when running a cult.]

It is not currently possible to assemble An Esoteric Cult of the Flowermaker without using the console, as no cities have both The Flowermaker's Shadow and Connection: Holy Man available. In theory, to do so one would Employ A New Faith? with 1 Space, a Stolen Year, and The Flowermaker's Shadow.

Challenges[ | ]

Flowermaker Cult: Ceremonies of private pleasure or of public revelation?

Requires Grail 4 / Lantern 4.

Flowermaker Cult: Draw the velvet curtains close, or fling wide the doors of sensation?

Requires Grail 8 / Knock 8.

Flowermaker Cult: Seduction, or awe?
